Play & Learn, including Let's Cook
Play & Learn is a fun session for children from birth to five. Explore activities and new experiences together, all designed to support your child's interests, creativity and learning needs. Take away great ideas to try at home too! Our friendly, experienced team will also give you advice, guidance and information in lots of other areas and share with you other activities that you can enjoy together in your local community. All families are welcome. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Ready, Steady, Go! - Term Time Only
This will help you support your child to become life ready! With a focus on children's confidence, self-esteem and physical development whatever the goal we will make sure your child is ready for their next step.
Community Nursery Nurses provide health advice and support within a relaxing environment. An ideal opportunity to meet other new parents and for your child to start socialising from an early age.
A session for Ofsted registered childminders supporting early years children with their learning and development.
Well Baby Health Clinic
An opportunity to have your child weighed or just have a chat and get advice from our Community Nursery Nurses.
A group for children with complex needs and disabilities. We aim to provide a safe environment with activities and a forum for you to meet with other parents. This group is held every Friday and Health Visitors, a Paediatric Nurse and specialist medical staff will be in attendance.
Parent Support Programmes
During the year we offer various courses across our centres which support improved family relationships, confidence, personal goals and returning to work. We also run a 5 or 10 week Nurturing Programme - because being a parent isn't always easy! Referral is made by our Family Support team, so please speak to the Children's Centre or your Health Visitor for more information. We provide a limited number of free creche places for children under 5.
Family Support Worker Services
We can offer additional support to help with a range of issues from feeling isolated or struggling with various parenting problems to help with housing and debt problems.
Baby Grows, including GroBrain
Classes delivered by qualified instructors, suitable for babies 6 weeks - 10 months. GroBrian will support you with 'tuning' into baby's cues, cries and providing comfort, using smiles, cuddles and eye contact.
We have breast pumps available for loan. Please contact the Centre to check availability.

Introduction to Solids
Run by a local Community Nursery Nurse on the first Wednesday of each month. No need to book.
