Information Advice and Guidance

Each of our children's centres have experienced reception staff who can offer Information, Advice and Guidance for a variety of your families needs. 


Children and Early Education 

Finding the right childcare setting for your baby or young child can seem overwhelming. As a parent, you want to ensure that your child is safe and happy in a childcare environment that is fun, educational, and nurturing.

Child Development

Children learn best when they are with the people they love and trust, and as a parent or carer you are best placed to support their development.


Playing and Learning

You can join in the activities, meet new friends and have fun learning together through play.                                                                                                                                                                            


Healthy Eating               

Find helpful advice and tips on a healthy, balanced diet for children aged one to five years.                                                                                                                                                                              


Child Health 

Health visitors run an advice drop in from the children's centres weekly. They provide information, advice and support to pregnant women, expectant fathers and parents of new babies and young children.

Going to Work

The children’s centres work with Job Centre Plus, to support parents into work, every children’s centre has a linked Job Centre Plus advisor.




Helping parents understand and manage feelings and behaviour whilst becoming more positive and nurturing in their relationships with their children and each other. We want parents and children to get the best out of family life.                     

Family Support 

The aim of family support is to give all children the best possible start in life, enabling them to reach their full potential and lead happy and healthy lives.
